It is already a decades-old tradition for the royal family to spend their Easter and summer vacations in Mallorca. The coronavirus pandemic put a spanner in the works last year, so the Mallorcans are all the more delighted to welcome King Felipe VI with Queen Letizia and their children again this year.

The royals arrived on 31.07. and are staying at their Marivent Palace in Cala Mayor. Receptions and meetings are held in the Almudaina Palace right next to the cathedral.
By the way, the Almudaina Palace can be visited.

Numerous political, but also cultural events are on the program. The highlight is the Copa del Rey, one of the most important sailing competitions in the Mediterranean, which will be held in the Bay of Palma until August 7.

Further information on the Copa del Rey can be found here.
