Which villa is right for you?
There are a variety of reasons why you might decide to buy a villa in Mallorca. Some people are looking for a holiday property, others are moving to Mallorca with the family, whilst others are looking for an investment opportunity. You should make sure you choose the right region depending your reasons for buying.
SUNNY LOCATION. Buying a villa in Mallorca to rent later on can be an great investment opportunity. But holiday rental in Mallorca is subject to strict conditions and should be discussed in detail with our consultants. A long-term rental is defined as any rental period longer than 6 months and is subject to few if any conditions, but it won’t generate as much return as a holiday rental.
FAMILY FRIENDLY. Families are keen to buy a villa in Mallorca because it’s a lively place with good infrastructure and nearby international schools. The southwest and the area surrounding Palma are particularly ideal locations for a family villa. International schools, modern clinics and excellent sports facilities can all be found here. A flat plot of land, safe pool area and plenty of space are other typical requirements for a family villa.
JUST THE TWO OF US. Couples who buy a villa in Mallorca generally want to use it either as a holiday home or as a primary residence. If the new home is set to be used as a primary residence, good nearby infrastructure is just as important as privacy, heating and other facilities that meet our Central European standards. With a holiday property on the other hand, you can cut back on the type of heating and modern technology, provided that the property is only used in the warmer months and not long-term.
