A Mallorcan world footballer - it is not excluded this year. The Ballon d'Or will be awarded on October 30 by the French sports magazine France Football.
Nominated are 30 players and players both men and women. Among them is 25-year-old Patricia Guijarro from Palma. The Mallorcan won the triple with FC Barcelona last season. She scored a brace in the 3-2 win in the Champions League final.
