According to the Ministry of Tourism, the Balearic Islands are in for a record summer. In the two months of July and August, according to forecasts, even more international tourists will come to the islands than in the pre-Corona year 2019. The number of foreign bookings is expected to increase by ten percent, and national bookings by as much as 17 percent. In 2019, the islands recorded a record 16.4 million vacationers.
