Due to the fast spreading omicron variant, the Balearic Islands have tightened the corona rules.

Gastronomy & hotel industry
The 3G rule applies in restaurants, bars and hotels. Only fully vaccinated, recovered and tested persons are allowed to enter. Rapid tests (not older than 48 hours) and PCR tests (not older than 72 hours) are accepted. This also applies to fast food restaurants such as McDonalds as well as in outdoor areas.
Mask obligation
The mask obligation has been reintroduced in outdoor areas. This means that the utensil must be worn practically everywhere and always in public areas.
Exceptions are outdoor sports and outdoor activities (e.g. hiking).
Cinemas, theaters and concerts
The 3G rule applies here.
Shopping
Stores and supermarkets are open to everyone. Masks are compulsory.
