The Supreme Court has ruled in favor of private ride services Uber and Cabify on Mallorca and has now paved the way. The regional government, together with the Majorcan cab association, had previously filed a lawsuit against the granting of licenses. The lawsuit was dismissed and 225 licenses were granted on the Balearic Islands. Now Uber and Cabify customers can also benefit from the cheaper ride services on Mallorca.
