According to the new draft of the Tourism Act, vacation rental of apartments in apartment houses or semi-detached houses is no longer allowed .
Only detached and semi-detached houses can be rented out for tourism with the respective license.
The maximum period for the transfer may not exceed 1 month.
The property may have a maximum of 6 bedrooms/12 beds. There must be one bathroom per 3 beds.
The respective municipality issues a quality certificate valid for a maximum of 6 years. This certificate is obligatory.
