22 new city buses have entered service with Palma's transport company EMT in the first weeks of this year.
The new buses run on natural gas and are therefore more environmentally friendly. The purchase of the new vehicles cost just under 18 million euros.
The transport company regularly adds new buses to its fleet. The aim is to replace the old ones one by one. More than 90 percent of the fleet has already been renewed.
