Even if it seems difficult to get from Germany to Mallorca at the moment, it is not at all, as long as you know what to look out for.
Flight connections
At the moment the connections between Mallorca and Germany are very limited.
However, the following routes are served regularly and in some cases several times a week:
- Mallorca - Frankfurt serves Lufthansa.

- Mallorca-Hamburg are offered by Ryanair and Eurowings.
- Mallorca - Berlin is available with EasyJet or Eurowinds (connecting flight).
Entry to Mallorca
Even before departure, travelers are checked and must present the carriers (airlines) with proof of a negative PCR test. It is important that the ID number or NIE is written on the document. It must be the same number that one has indicated in the Spanish entry form. The time of bange of the test must not be older than 72 hours at the time of entry into Spain.
At many airports PCR tests are offered for a fee.
In addition, the form for entry into Spain must be filled out digitally. Usually it has to be presented already at the departure airport, but at the latest after arrival at Palma airport. Here, employees check the travelers for entry form and body temperature shortly before the baggage carousels.
Entry to Germany
Germany has tightened its entry regulations as of Jan. 24, 2021. Travelers from high-risk areas, which include Spain and Mallorca, must present a negative test result before departure. Germany also accepts the much cheaper antigen test (rapid test). A maximum of 48 hours may elapse between acceptance and entry.
On Mallorca, many hospitals and doctors offer the Corona rapid test. The costs start at 35 EUR.
After entering the country you have to stay in quarantine for 10 days. At the earliest after 5 days a test may be made, which, if negative, shortens the quarantine period. However, the federal states handle the regulations on quarantine differently. A look at the corresponding homepage of the respective federal state is worthwhile.
