We promise, you will be impressed by hiking in Mallorca and get to know the island in a whole new way on our three favorite routes.

Mallorca is made for hiking, and more and more locals and visitors are discovering this. The movement in untouched nature in combination with the pleasant temperatures, the varied landscapes and the high mountains, which were recently named a UNESCO World Heritage Site, make hiking Mallorca something very special. Every hike - whether it's a high-altitude tour with a guaranteed sea view, a leisurely stroll through the orange groves or a comprehensive summit climb - is simply unforgettable.

Without a doubt, our favorite for hiking in Mallorca is the well-known and beloved by the islanders Serra de Tramuntana. The mountain range comes with 54 peaks, some over 1,000 meters high, and offers numerous hiking trails and coastal roads for hiking in Mallorca. While hiking through Mallorca's mountain landscape, you will repeatedly cross picturesque mountain villages, walk along the deep blue sea and meet wild goats. On the other hand, if you like it a bit more relaxed, shift your hike to a blooming orange grove or stroll along one of the miles of beaches. While hiking, you will discover Mallorca all over again.

Tour 1: Discover Mallorca while hiking from Port d'Andratx to Sant Elm

Real Estate Port Andratx on the harbor

Our first hike goes from the exclusive marina Port d'Andratx, where many elegant villas and penthouse apartments are lined up, to the quaint fishing village of Sant Elm. Throughout the walking tour you will enjoy spectacular sea views. If the weather is nice, you can even see all the way to Ibiza from Mallorca while hiking! When you reach your destination, you can use one of the speed tours for the way back, take the bus or simply hike the route back to get to Mallorca's center or wherever you are drawn to.

If you want to hike this path and explore Mallorca, start at the Hotel Mont Port. Here the asphalt road leads up in serpentines. From here you go directly uphill on the forest path. In the distance, you can already see the radio tower, which is an intermediate destination on this tour of Mallorca to be hiked. After you pass the radio tower, go along the stone pyramids the small trail to the right and take the pass. With this you reach the highest point of the tour and can enjoy the sight of Sant Elm as well as the island of Sa Dragonera, which are at your feet.

Sa Dragonera itself is an uninhabited nature reserve island where you can find three lighthouses, a harbor and many lizards. After a short break, descend along a narrow path that leads to a wide path, which you follow to the left. At the larger turn you keep right and hike downhill to Sant Elm, where a fine sandy beach and restaurants right by the sea already await you. Hiking will open up new sides of Mallorca to you.
