As of today, there is no longer a general requirement to wear masks indoors throughout Spain.
But there are exceptions:
Waiters and catering staffmust continue to wear the mask.
Supermarket employees must continue to wear masks, although customers can go shopping without the utensil.
Positively tested workers without syndromes must wear a mask.
Masks are also mandatory in public transport, pharmacies, hospitals, doctors' offices and retirement homes.
Generally, it is up to the companies to decide whether they will continue to require their employees to wear a mask in the workplace.
