Four-paws and their owners can enjoy a new dog beach in Mallorca.
In Cala Ratjada, the small beach Na Ferradura was released for unlimited fun digging, swimming and romping. The beach is now open all year round for dogs.
Owners must of course adhere to the label: Excrement must be collected and disposed of. Only dogs that have been vaccinated and chipped are allowed on the beach.
In Mallorca, dogs are not allowed on public bathing beaches. Only on those beaches that are designated as dog-friendly, the pets are allowed to cool off.
These are, in addition to the new dog beach in Cala Ratjada, the coves where you can go swimming with your favorite:
- Playa de Llenaire (Port de Pollença)
- Playa de Na Patana (Santa Margalida)
- Playa de Es Carnatge(Palma, near Can Pastilla)
- Cala Blanca (Andratx)
- Cala dels Gats (Costa de la Calma, Calvià)
- Punta des Marroig (Palmanova, Calvià)
