The Irish airline Ryanair offers from 04.12.2020 an internal Spanish connection between Palma de Mallorca and Jerez. Twice a week - on Mondays and Fridays - the planes take off in the direction of the mainland. With the new route Ryanair serves a total of 11 connections between Mallorca and the Spanish mainland.
Residents of Mallorca can enjoy a 75% discount on the airfare for flights within Spain. This discount is a handsome subsidy to compensate for the disadvantage of being an island. The resident discount is also valid on the travel connections between Mallorca, its neighboring islands and the Spanish mainland.
