In Spain, nativity scenes are as much a part of Advent as candles are in Central Europe. The nativity scenes in many households grow every year. The finest craftsmanship is on the Spanish Christmas markets Sold and decorate the living rooms of the Mallorcans.

But also the public is not denied the sight of the often very lovingly and generously designed nativity scenes. Nativity scenes can be seen in many places on the island. Many churches display the symbol of Christmas, but also in the town hall every year traditionally a large nativity scene is built. A visit is worthwhile!

The nativity scene in Palma City Hall can be visited until Three Kings Day always from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 8:30 pm and on weekends and holidays from 10 am to 8 pm (on January 6 until 2 pm).

Very beautiful is also the nativity scene in the market hall of Santa Catalina. There visitors can admire, among other things, eblematic buildings of the neighborhood such as Hostel Cuba. The crib is accessible on market days from 8 am to 3 pm.
