Pet owners and animal welfare groups are pleased that a resolution has finally gone into effect that was already passed in 2019.
Since this week, dogs and cats are allowed to travel on buses in Palma.
For transportation on public transport, the four-legged friends need a ticket. The price is only 30 cents.
If dogs are not transported in a basket, they must wear a muzzle and leash.
Cats, hamsters and rabbits must always be transported in a basket.
