MEROS is an exclusive sharing model for yacht enthusiasts in the premium segment. Co-ownership stands for the highest standards and luxury, as the concept is exclusively available with yachts from Sunseeker. Like hardly any other manufacturer, Sunseeker meets the requirements of yacht owners in terms of the highest series production quality, performance, exterior and interior design.
Luxury as needed
Shareholders acquire the right to use a yacht. They choose a usage package and decide how many weeks they want to use a yacht over the year. The packages offered are 6, 8, 12 or even 24 weeks. The purchased weeks are divided into main, low and winter season and can be requested and booked there. The service on board is comparable with that of a 5-star luxury hotel. Also a professional crew is available on request. The organization around the yacht is taken over by MEROS, while the shareholder can enjoy the time on board with his guests without restrictions. The service is available all year round, because also outside the main season the yachts are accessible for members e.g. as floating chalet.
Save costs - avoid loss of value
The benefits and conveniences of yacht co-ownership are numerous and obvious.
Co-owners are freed from depreciation, maintenance costs, unforeseen repairs and a large part of the high acquisition costs of a superyacht. The annual expenses are calculable and there are no additional expenses for maintenance, service, maintenance, management and operation of the yacht.
For each of the available yachts, an investment company has been established for their financing, in which the MEROS Co-Owners participate financially. Shares in the investment company are acquired in the form of stock. Co-Owners are co-owners in this company and receive a dividend entitlement for their participation.
All ships are registered as "Commercial Vessels" and have charter licenses for Italy, France, Spain and the Balearic Islands.
